How do you single crochet in next chain 2 loop?

I'm crocheting a dishcloth and the instructions for the 1st row says: Ch.3. *1 sc in next ch 2 loop. Ch 2....etc. But I need help on the single crochet in the ch 2 loop. Any help will be grateful!!
