Any one ever hear about a UK.Lottery that uses e-mail address?

I just got an e-mail from Brian Hunt telling me i won 500.000.00 payable in G.B.P. that i need to get in touch with there Fiduciary Agent Alen Foster at alenfoster708@hotmail.co.uk, I am thinking it a scam but want to check it out.THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
